We are fortunate indeed to have a full complement of dedicated
professional staff; however, the programs of the church depend on the involvement of many
lay members on a regular basis. For example, fifty lay members (more or less) are involved
in our worship service every Sunday morning. The following list of volunteer tasks
includes help that will be needed throughout the year -- some one time, others more
often.
If you would like to help with any of these tasks, or be part of
one of these groups, please contact the Church Office (905 822-9834).
- Usher at worship
- Read the lesson during worship
- Assist or perform in a Choir
- Operate the elevator
- Operate the sound system
- Fold service bulletins
- Assist in Sanctuary Decoration

- Help prepare for communion
- Assist with special services
- Help plan alternative services
- Play a musical instrument
- Help in the Nursery
- Help count the Offering
- Participate in dramas

- Serve on a team or committee of the church
- Serve as a representative to Presbytery

- Assist with committee & team nominations

- Provide publishing skills

- Write content for various publications and the web site
