Overview Music is an essential part of the worship experience at Christ Church. Opportunities are provided for vocalists and instrumentalists to contribute their musical talents. Following in a tradition at least 80 years old, Christ Church has presented musicals such as "Solomon the Wise" and "Our Heritage" involving singers, dancers, actors and instrumentalists of all ages.
New members of the musical organizations
are always welcome.
Details Creative leadership for the musical program at Christ Church is provided by THE organist and choir director. At Christmas and Easter and throughout the church year, members of the Senior and Junior Choirs, ensembles, soloists, and instrumentalists contribute to the worship experience. The Bell Choir, now in its 12th year, continues to grow in the skills of bell ringing. The director, Irvin Rubincam, has provided a number of original arrangements for the 12 member choir. The Chime choir is always happy to welcome new members. An ability to read music is an asset but not necessary. We "chime" as a part of about 4 or 5 services a year.
