Bzzz … Introducing A Pager System A pager system will be available in late October to help Christ Church fulfill its United Church policies for our Duty of Care for our children. For the 10:30 Nursery parents will receive a pager to take into the worship in case our nursery care-giver needs to connect with them. For the 9:02 church school time the system will connect with the person on sound board duty and someone will be asked to go and assist the teacher. Sunday Worship Times and Children Nursery (Infants/Toddlers) – 10:30 Worship – Room 25 Sunday School (3-12) – 9:02 Worship only – Infants and Toddlers are welcome to be with parents at this time. Soft books and toys are available as they enjoy the music! Children of all ages are welcome at the 10:30 Worship time where activity packages are available for their use in the pews. Please find them at the Sound Board or at the ‘children’s table’ in the Narthex, Sunday Curriculum One Room Sunday School for Ages 3 – 12 with teachers who lift the ideas from the pages age appropriately. Stories! Drama! Puzzles! Word Searches! Crafts! Community Building! Fun! Preparing to do something for someone else! Sunday School Chimes Group The children also learned in November to be a Chime Choir! On December 11th they offered their ‘ministry of music’, playing and singing, ‘Joy to the World’ at both worship times. It is hoped by all that they will return to offer their music gift in the spring! Mitten Tree Our Mitten Tree is waiting to adorned with mittens, scarves, and hats Youth (Grade 7 & 8 to High School) We have not forgotten our Teens! A plan is being formed to have a group of Grade 7 & 8 meeting soon! Please watch the Sunday Bulletin inserts and the email information in the coming weeks for more information. Our youth are welcome to help with the younger children in the Sunday School at any time! Please let Ann Fleming know of your interested to do this. Volunteer hours will be taken into consideration. December & Christmas Christmas Eve—Something for every age in the 5:30 - Gather round the Manger—a time for preschoolers Christmas Day – Come at 10:30 for a Christmas Family Worship Time New Years’ Day - Come at 10:30 to celebrate the New Year with Christ Church faith family…. 2012 Sunday School Sunday School will resume classes on January 8th during the 9:02 worship. Volunteers for teaching our children are always welcome! Please let us know if you would be willing to take a Sunday morning turn. All materials are prepared for those who teach.
