Alpha
and Omega
"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first
and the last, the beginning and the end," said Jesus.
[Revelation 22:13]
Alpha and Omega are the first and
last letters of the Greek alphabet. Cited together, they imply "the beginning
and the end, and everything in between". God and Jesus have been associated
with this symbolism through the ages.
