The Resurrection and Ascension of Jesus
Scholars may argue about what actually happened at Easter or about the "physicality" of the resurrected Christ, but the Easter event was the defining moment for Jesus’ friends, and remains so for the Christian Church to this day. Perhaps it is also true for all humanity, for it is unlikely that any place on earth is unaffected by the understanding or misunderstanding, the application or misapplication, of the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth.
