As many of you will know, the public performance of the Passion Play on the Wednesday evening of Holy Week last Easter season was video-filmed by Shane Chadder. He had also attended the Monday evening full-dress rehearsal and filmed numerous close-up shots. Happily for Shane, but regrettably for the project, shortly thereafter he became too heavily committed to another project to be able to complete the editing of these several editions of the Play. We are delighted to report that the final DVD of the Saint Mark Passion Play is now in the hands of Christ Church. A professionally-produced DVD has been reserved for every one who participated in the production of the Play in any way as a token of appreciation for their support. A limited supply of extra copies were made and are now available for purchase by anyone who missed the Play in the Spring, or who would like a memorial of that event, and may be obtained from the church office at a cost of $10 each.
If you are interested in music, art, photography or the use of design and are technically adept, we need you! One of the objectives of this team will be to “produce” our worship services, funerals and potentially, weddings, for broadcast through the Internet. This is the first time in a long time Christ Church is looking to form a new Team and we are excited to see where an energetic team could take Christ Church in the next couple of years.
